To some, it's called Veterans Day, to others, Armistice Day, Poppy Day, and so forth. No matter what you call it, the 11th hour of the 11th month of the 11th day of each year is set aside for us to take pause, and remember those whom have fought in a war, no matter the reason, and survived to return home to those they love, and were perhaps fighting for.
Again, whether you know it as Veterans Day, ANZAC day, Armistice Day is irrelevant; so long as you remember the reason why we celebrate it: To show respect to our veterans.
