Post subject: I cannot get into my account

First of all I tried to connect to Irchighway by using the same setup. It said my name was never registered. So I reregistered using the same info and it worked. Well, I was on for a bit, and my computer fell asleep with the connection still on. When I came back it I tried to join a channel and it asked me for my password. I typed it in, and it told me it was wrong. Now I cannot log in. My nick is gacxx. I believe I typed my password in correctly, but if not how would I get it using the SENDPASS command?

Hey there gacxx,
[Un]fortunately for the average user, we disable the sendpass command so that people don't get flooded with password reset emails.
However, I did send the password to your email that you registered with, let us know if you need anymore help.
Oh, and also, if you were previously registered and then ended up seeing that you weren't, your account was probably deregistered because you were gone for a month or more. |

| Ok so I got my password (which was the one I tried using before) and I tried logging in but it is still telling me my password is incorrect. What should I do? |

| you have to use the password sent in the email givin, as thats the reset part of it, then do /ns set password newpasshere, after you have identified with the password emailed |

The password sent in the email was the password I set up.
EDIT: Just to elaborate- the password for my nick that was sent by an administrator was the same password I had been trying to use to identify myself with my nick. For some reason it tells me the password is incorrect. |

Oops I forgot to log in for these forums . Yep for some reason it tells me password incorrect every time! It's really frustrating because it is so odd that it will not work. |

Hey Gacxx.
Do you think that you can PM me (either on here, or to Tralin on IRC) the exact commands that you're using to attempt to log in, as well as all the text from the password reset email? |
